——Kody in Episode 28
Appearance
Kody has tan-brown skin, Black-ish Brown-ish hair, green eyes (like all witches do), and a small beauty mark underneath his left eye. In the newer episodes, he was possessed by his cat-spirit, Bill. His age was never reported, but rumor is he is 13 or 14. At the beginning of the comic (Webtoon Canvas 2016) he was 11 and probably has aged little because although it's been almost 4 years, only a few months (almost a year) about a year has passed so he is 12/13 now.
Personality
At first, Kody is shown to be cruel, disrespectful, and coldhearted. But as shown later in season 0, he has a soft side and can be kind when he decides to be. Past episode 30, he began to warm up to some of the characters, one of them being Lumine as his personality softens. He is shown to be understanding and rational to Bill, his cat when confronting him about Lumine.
History
Two years before the beginning of the series, Kody was already being bullied by Calla, who hated him because of his attitude towards people.[1] However, Elijah decided to befriend him and they ended up being good friends[2] until Elijah (as he said) "overreacted" and yelled at Kody. Due to that event, it is shown that is it now difficult for Kody to befriend others.
As shown in episodes 35-37, Kody and Calla used to be close friends and he showed his emotions more often. But once Aiden told Kody about his condition of not being able to use magic, he became cold towards others, including Calla. Calla began to spread rumors about him, which slowly led to bullying. She thought he deserved it for his attitude towards others.
When Calla started bullying him, he began pushing away everyone he loved, including his cat, Bill. Soon, Kody befriended Elijah, despite his reputation with all the other kids at school. Calla started pressuring Elijah into leaving Kody, leading them to stop being friends. When Kody was harassed by a group of bullies, Bill stepped in to help, but when Kody mocked him, the bully ended up killing Bill, leaving Kody to blame himself.
A while after Kody and Lumine arrive in Terrenavo, they meet Camille, who offers to remove Bill's spirit. Kody objects and both of them try to escape, but Kody faints again after casting a spell. Camille takes them to her house, where they stay the night. The next day, when Camille leaves, Bill possesses his body and runs out of the house, where Lumine chases after him. As Bill corrupts Kody's body more, he tries to kill Lumine, blaming him for all the events that happened ever since he showed up. Just when Bill is about to kill Lumine, Kody steps in, and questions why he is attacking his friend. When Bill says it was all Lumine's fault that everyone they loved was killed and that they ended up in Terrenavo, Kody insists that it isn't anyone's fault. Kody explains that spirits absorb negative emotion, making them more powerful, and also making them feel the emotions. He explains that he always blamed himself for Bill's death, and blames others, too, making Bill blame Lumine. Knowing that Bill stayed not only because he wanted to protect himself, but was worried about him, Kody reassures Bill that no matter what he runs into in the future, he will be okay by himself. Knowing he doesn't have to worry about Kody anymore, Bill fades away hugging Kody.
Plot
Kody found Lumine sleeping in the open behind a building and asked him for directions to the train station. However, they got lost and were accosted by a gang of robbers. Kody infuriated one of them by telling him to get a job, inciting them into attacking.[3] Fortunately, they were saved by Aiden, Kody's father.
Powers and Abilities
Despite being a witch, it is implied that Kody cannot cast spells without spitting blood shortly after and is gradually getting weaker, due to the Black Cat Spirit, explained in episode 30. Prior to the start if the series, when Kody was younger he was already unable to use magic due to his weak body and before his cat was cursed

Relationships
Lumine
Kody met Lumine while he was sleeping on the street, later living together after Kody's father. said that Lumine was Kody's "bodyguard". At first, Kody was apprehensive towards Lumine, refusing to allow him to be his bodyguard. However, after Lumine saved his life, Kody has been seen to be warming up to Lumine, acting less cold and more welcoming to him. Though in an episode Kody didn't liked the fact Lumine joined a tournament but did show he cared a lot about Lumine in that episode.
Aiden is Kody's loving, caring Father. Despite this, Kody is quite cold towards him. But later in the story, it is shown that Kody really cares about his Father. Also, Aiden is a badass. ( Kody is kind of a tsundere [edited], also tell me if I spelled it right.)Kody cares for Aiden deeply enough to not leave him, but Aiden teleports Kody and Lumine far away to protect them.
Silver
Sliver knows Kody well enough to know he is a troublemaker and has an ambition of opening a bakery. [5]
Sherry
She views him as one who causes constant trouble and is never shown to interact with many conflicts.
Black Cat Spirit
He is affectionate toward it and does not wish for it to leave him, even when Aiden tells him to get rid of it. When we get to see the thing that happened before the story, we see that the cat was basically like Kody’s pet. Lumine may be afraid of it. Because after a while, it is said to believe that the cat will kill Kody. The spirit can limit Kody's magic and even control his body seen in season 2.
Calla
Kody used to be friends with her until they had a falling out. She bullied him a lot at school. After the incident with the black market however, she is shown to care for Kody a bit more, despite the fact that Kody still despises Calla.
Elijah
Initially, Elijah was friends with Kody, although Kody never displayed much investment in this friendship, instead, he was treating him coldly like he did with everyone else. Eventually, their friendship broke off due to both Calla's influence and Elijah's frustration with how Kody has treated him. Their relationship has been seen to have slightly improved, but they are not necessarily friends.

- Kody's personality was swapped with Lumine's in the original version of the comic, according to the creator's twitter.
- Kody has expressed a desire to become a bakery shop owner.
